Over the years, Arcwerks has worked on several projects for this Client with the North Palm Beach store being a departure from previous stores in both design and size. For this flagship store, the client’s program required a large, centralized sales floor for highlighting its selections of wine, canned and refrigerated goods.

The areas along the store’s perimeter were designated for meats, seafood, poultry, produce, deli, cheese & baked goods. IL Bar, which features takeout pizza, gelato and espresso, can be enjoyed at Café Bocce, a covered outdoor seating area with bocce courts. Additionally, a commercial kitchen & bakery were provided along with prep areas, large coolers/ freezers, and a dry storage mezzanine all filling out the back of house. Check out registers and an administrative mezzanine were provided at the front of the store.

The store layout, new finish décor, lighting and signage, highlight the sales floor, designated departments and amenities along the perimeter, creating an inviting and open market environment which has evolved into the area’s premier specialty supermarket.
